Visited their stand at the Frome Independant. Got a chocolate tart and cookie. Ate the tart soon after purchase and had to go back to pick up a second! It was THEE best chocolate tart I've ever had!

We picked up some treats at the Malplash show and Oh My Word! Pastry was light and crunchy, bake was perfect, taste was delicious and subtle. Treacle Tart was out of this world, Portuguese tart so divine and raspberry crème brûlée is to die for!

My first visit today. They only had one loaf left, as I got there quite late, but it is delicious! They sadly have no gluten free option. They do a spelt sourdough, which does have some white French flour in. The lady did give me two complimentary meringues though to make up for it :) We are definitely going back!

Baked goods lovers, do not skip on this lovely bakery! Tried their raspberry creme brûlée tart at Frome market and I can’t stop thinking about it. Really quite special!

I love living so close to The Barley Sugar Bakery where I can pop in before work and buy the most delicious pastries, whilst smelling all the delights of breads, savouries. The service is always excellent! Go taste for yourself and spread the word to all your friends. xx
Just had one of the eccles cakes bought in Frome yesterday at the market,just have to say the very best I've ever had,and I'm almost a world expert on eccles cakes ....😁 Oh ,and the pear galettes we had were fantastic 😋😋

This is the best bread I have tasted outside of France, absolutely beautiful. This is a little gem that is worth visiting so I suggest you put the dates and times in your diary so you do not miss out!

The only place in South South to buy your bread and pastries. A jewel in the South Somerset crown! Their sourdough loaves are just what you see the professional chefs use on TV.
The sourdough is absolutely gorgeous n now get one every weekend with a cheeky cake for my sugar fix…perfect A***
How lucky am I to live a minutes walk away from here. The most delicious granary bread and almond croissants. Perfection. HAPPY ME!
Quite simply the finest bakery and patisseries you will EVER taste . The raspberry crėme brulee are out of this world.
